Checklist For Packing A Diaper Bag

Written by Deborah Northcutt

When getting ready to leave the hours with baby you need to plan on what to take with you. What goes in a diaper bag besides, well, diapers? Use this checklist to pack everything you’ll need when you’re out and about with your baby.

  • Diapers: Take more than you think you’ll need, as many as one for every hour of your outing. Yep, you read that right. Babies go through a lot of diapers.
  • Small box of wipes: These aren’t just for baby’s bum, but for wiping down the changing pad and your hands, too.
  • Hand sanitizer
  • A foldaway changing pad (most diaper bags come with one)
  • A small tube of diaper-rash cream (very important)
  • 2 burp cloths for burping, wiping faces, mopping up spit-up and other messes.
  • 1 receiving blanket in case you need to put your baby down, or if it gets suddenly chilly.

More in my next post.
